So very sorry to be announcing this late, but due to my laptop and Blogger not getting along, I've had to postpone my contest with Greatest Friend. Now that everything is back in shape, and without further ado, the winner of the vintage sash is...
#23/EATING THE ABSTRACTION!!!

Congrats dear!! Please email your mailing address to monpetitfantome(at)gmail(dot)com please...
Not a lot of shop news to announce I'm afraid, except that I will be continuing my 15% off coupon code: SEANCE until December 17th! So if you were looking at something as a Holiday gift for a loved one, or yourself, now is the time dears!
We got the most amazing new sweetheart at work recently...

Seriously took my breath away!! For those who may not know, my three "Holy Grails" on my taxidermy wish list are a swan, barn owl, and raven. Unfortunately, her price tag is a wee bit out of my price range, but I love petting her head when I pass by, and staring lovingly into her eyes.
Another fantastic item in the shop was this tasseomancy cup and saucer set...

It was in my dearest Angel's booth, and she oh so kindly gifted it to me. Eeeee! Time to learn "the magical art of reading tea leaves"!
A friend of mine passed these on to me, and seriously made my day/made me laugh out loud...
Ha!!!
And now for some music!
I have been on a serious Lykke Li kick lately...
The approaching Fall always gets me in the mood for Fever Ray. Here's their entire Coachella set...
And if you don't know who Chelsea Wolfe is, you should...

Gasp! Oh my, I'd like to thank everyone who helped me to become the person that I am today, and everyone who helped me to achieve this singular award. (Namely, Chad and Greatest Friend, and the law of probability, ahem.)
I didn't realize you worked at Uncommon Objects! What a great job! I lived in Austin last year and that's by far one of the best places to explore. That swan is todiefor!
omg besties! gotta love that grade seven humour!!! lucky for me, i am twelve!
did i ever tell you about the time that i found my dream taxidermy on craigslist?!!! it was a HUGE mount with a fox leaning over a fresh kill of a mallard, a large piece of drift wood stood off to the side with a raven- wings expanded looking down over the fox and his kill!!! IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! but, unfortunately it was also out of my price range :( and now it is lost forever :( you would have loved it!
