One Day You'll Sleep Again...

Hello kittens!

I hope you all are doing well...

I have a new print in the shop! It's probably one of my most intricate pieces to date, and I have so much fun cutting it.

"Do This In Memory Of Me"

It was inspired by this pair of lace gloves that I bought at work...
Ghostly fingers

I am working on two articulated papercuts, right now, that will be one off pieces in the shop really soon!

The most exciting news to share is that I finally got two kitties!! They are two black beautiful boys named Salem and Dorian. I adopted them, here in town, and am so happy I got to keep these brothers together!
Meet my beautiful boys, Dorian and Salem!

Always photo ready

Black beauties
I love them soooo much! It might sound silly to some, but I don't think I could imagine my life without them.

Another big change is that I've gone blonde! I've dyed my naturally reddish brown hair black since 9th grade. It has been such a refreshing change going lighter...
I'm a blonde now!

Now it's time to share some new goodies and treasures that I've found...

Have you guys heard of "Moon in My Room"? It's a 15" moon replica that lights with the different moon phases. Holy shit it's amazing! This is what it looks like right out of the box...
"Moon in My Room"...the most amazing thing!

And here it is all lit up!

I've been lusting after these Acutal Pain Sixth Seal tights foreverrrrr! They have finally been restocked and I snagged a pair.
Amazing Actual Pain Sixth Seal tights!

Living in Austin, in the summer, inevitably means doing some sort of outside activity...hopefully near water! I decided to break down and buy a sun hat (in black of course!).
My idea of summer wear.

I went to see Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows". I LOVED it! I don't understand the negative reviews in regards to it's camp/humor. Had these people not seen the original soap opera. Well, I was obsessed with it as a kid, and found this lovely while buying kitty litter at Target (attention stalkers: If you want to find me, 9 times out of 10 I'm at Target buying litter).
Nighttime viewing...

I finally got some Jeffery Campbells! These are the "Damsels" and I love 'em...
New shoesies!

I attended the musical festival, Chaos in Tejas, and got to meet and hang with the sweetheart that is Audrey of Ovate!!! If you are not familiar with Audrey's clothes, do you self a favor honey and check them out...
I also got to meet the beautiful sweetheart Audrey of Ovate!

I got to see and meet Chealsea Wolfe at CIT! She is an amazing performer and such a dear sweet lady.
Chelsea Wolfe and I! Such an amazing performer and sweet person.

Now time for some items I found at work that have made their way into my home...

This is one of the most gorgeous mourning scarfs I've ever seen! From the early 1900s, it has some amazing pleating work...
Beautiful mourning scarf.

A pristine Masonic bible! It is filled with some gorgeous lithographs in the back, and also some coded messages handwritten in the back!!

Now, I know this is not going to be everyone's cup of tea. I understand people have strong feelings in regards to owning skulls, bones, and taxidermy. When I bring a new piece into my home, it is because I love and respect it. I'm giving it a home where it will be displayed with care and truly appreciated. That said, after years of owning replica skulls, I found an antique skull used for medical educational purposes. It is in gorgeous shape and sits right next to me, on my desk, and is my work buddy.
Most prized work treasure

This is one of the most thrilling photocards I've come across. I am in love with this lady! I want to sit at her feet and have her tell me stories...
My favorite photo found at work ever!

And finally a wooden Ouija board from 1919!

How bout some musics?!

Chelsea Wolfe is working on an acoustic album and here's a taster...

A new discovery for me, Tropic of Cancer...

Grimes has a new video for one of my favorite tracks, "Nightmusic". She's coming back to Austin in October, and I can't wait!

Everyone who follows me knows my deep love of Broadcast. Well, James Cargill finished work on a soundtrack that he began with Trish Keenan for a film called "Berberian Sound Studio". I cannot wait to see this film and listen to the soundtrack.

And here's a wee something to tickle your funnybone ;)
